Mohamed El Moctar Mahamar is the director of COMADDH, the Coalition for
Malian human rights defenders. The organisation – based in Bamako -
organises workshops and trainings for HRDs in the country, advocates for
better protection of HRD and promotion of human rights, and works on
issues such as transitional justice, women’s rights, democracy and
accountability.
