Protect Malian Human Rights Defenders

In October 2017, the Parliament of Mali will review legislation for a law on the protection of human rights defenders.

This campaign is meant to encourage the Malian public to support the campaign and to support human rights defenders. Human rights defenders in Mali face a variety of risks and threats, and this legislation can help create an environment of protection and security. It is with public awareness and support that this law will become effective and will show to MPs and the government the important role that human rights defenders play in Malian society.
